Sent USDT on the wrong network?
Answer in brief
A USDT transfer on a different chain than the invoice shows does not arrive at the invoice. Contact support with the transaction ID right away, and next time match the network before you confirm.
Why it happens
BEP20 and ERC20 addresses both start with 0x, so an exchange accepts the address on either network. The transfer goes through, just on a chain the invoice is not watching.
What to do
- Find the transaction ID (TxID) in your exchange or wallet history
- Open a support ticket with the TxID, the network you used and the invoice
- Don't send again to the same address on the same wrong network
Avoid it
- Decide the network first, then create the invoice on that network
- Check the network name in the withdrawal screen once more before confirming
- For a large amount, send a small test first
